Guilty Gear XX Slash" is a console adaptation of the latest 2D fighting game originally found in arcades, developed by Sammy/Sega. This version introduces two new characters not found in the previous #Reload series. The first addition is Order-Sol, a unique iteration of the main character Sol, featuring a range of new super moves. The second newcomer is A.B.A, known from her appearance in "Guilty Gear Isuka," now equipped with fresh super attacks.

The home console release offers an array of game modes, including Arcade, Versus 2P, Versus CPU, Training, Survival, Gallery, and Sound. Notably, there's a challenging M.O.M.E. mode, designed as a score attack feature, and a Mission mode where you can tackle a series of missions at various difficulty levels. The game's interface receives a visual overhaul with new menu screens and an enhanced graphical stage selection screen.
