Muster the strength to slay the Overlord and find a way back home!
After awakening in some unfamiliar woods, Alex, an ordinary high schooler living an ordinary life, learns he has somehow ended up in Fernland, a world where peace and order have been replaced by conflict and destruction.
Fighting to defend himself from monsters, the ever-ominous threat of the Overlord, and one chaotic event after another as he tries to find his own place in this new world, Alex comes across a young woman by the name of Lita from a peaceful world like his own.
Hitting it off, they soon become friends and set out together, but what hidden truth awaits them as their adventure begins to unfold...?

Prologue
Fernland―the crossroads for wanderers from other worlds.
Once a place of peace beloved by the Goddess where birds sang, clouds meandered, and the gentle breeze blew...
...but now destroyed villages and townscapes dot the land among a backdrop of devastated lands and frozen rivers accompanied by an unending lull in the wind. Even the animals have all but vanished.
The appearance of the Overlord―this single event changed the world forever as Fernland now sits amidst a state of never-ending conflict after the Goddess' powers were taken by this evil fanatic who has laid claim to its rulership.

Buddies & Teams
In battles, companions can join forces with another companion or a buddy to form a team. The character in the sub position supports the character in the main position by amplifying their actions and conducting additional attacks. What's more, certain effects are magnified and powerful unisons become available when specific characters are paired together!

Shared Skills
These special skills are learned from different NPCs the party encounters during their adventure. Shared skills are as the name suggest, skills shared between all party members. After being used, they cannot be used by another character until the cool time is up. Among these skills are also unique ones, which strength and effects change depending on who uses them.

The Secret House
The Secret House consists of 6 rooms that can be used for the following:

• Planters - Seeds are sown in these, which mature into parameter-increasing fruit.
• Doors - Available buddies are dispatched on jobs through these to earn rewards for the party.
• Stands - Available buddies are placed on these to extend various effects to the party in battle.
